Chrome Installation Guide

Download the ZIP

Click the Download ZIP button above and save it anywhere on your computer.

Unzip the folder

Right-click the ZIP → Extract All. You'll get a folder with the extension files inside.

Open Extensions page

Navigate to chrome://extensions in your browser's address bar.

Enable Developer Mode

Toggle Developer mode ON using the switch in the top-right corner of the page.

Load the extension

Click Load unpacked and select the unzipped folder. The YTCut icon will appear in your toolbar.

Go to YouTube

Open any YouTube video — you'll see the YTCut toolbar appear below the player. Press I and O to mark your clip!

Firefox — One-Click Install

Click "Add to Firefox"

Hit the orange Add to Firefox button above or go to the Mozilla Add-ons page.

Confirm the install

Firefox will ask for permission. Click Add — the YTCut icon appears in your toolbar instantly.

Go to YouTube

Open any YouTube video — the YTCut toolbar appears below the player. Press I and O to mark your clip and hit cut.
